Garmin Edge 800 - product renderings

We're currently producing two short web commercials with Hafzoo for Garmins forerunner and edge GPS units. The final ads required product animations which we created and rendered ready for the final sign offs. The final images are looking really clean and here's a shot from the animation.

We spent 4 days and nights working with our friends at Hafzoo filming through the best of the British weather to document the winter training regime of Steve Way a local marathon runner... The web ad will be live in the new year and promises to look epic. Attached is our man enduring a winter snow storm.

Were out in the Swiss alps for a week of shoots for Garmin and various ads for their fitness and automotive products... Stunning scenery ahead...

Valencia - Calatrava Architecture

Andy and I were lucky enough to enjoy a weekend in Valencia with friends in July and managed to check out some of the Calatrava buildings that span the end of the impressive park that was once a river through the city... The forms and scale are impressive and well worth a visit in the city.

Pool Interior - Work In Progress

We're undertaking a lot of interior images at the moment for one of our clients and working on the styling and materials with the architect for this underground pool area. There will be plenty of these on the way and we'll keep you posted.

Limitless Possibilities Campaign Image

We've just finished a recent campaign image for Limited Space which will run for the next couple of months across all media including a full page ad in Campaign magazine and MPU's for Adweek. Limitless Possibilities encompasses all of the product range under one roof to promote Q2/3 for the company. DL sized mailers are also being printed as we speak with the limitless concept running through each product and highlighted with a Silver Foil finish. Can't wait to see them.

We've just finished a CGI of an interior for a Norweigan Architects and created a modern furnished apartment overlooking a fjord in Lillehammer. Trying to push the interior work at the moment with projects coming up in both South of France and its neighbour in Monaco.....

Limited Space - Rollout Their Xmas Campaign Concept

Limited Space have just completed their second campaign commission with us to bring the last concept into a more festive feel. Just in time for the snow storm throughout England we sat the message of Merry Christmas in a winter wilderness outside the lift doors with various little christmas cliches hanging around. There's a full page ad in Campaign magazine, MPU on media week and Xmas cards shall be in the post to agencies throughout the country.

Car Renders - Test Scene with Nissan's GT-R

We had a play with some test scenes at the end of the Summer and thought it should be posted. Using a model of the Nissan Supercar and some background plates from Suurland we created a mockup scene to see how close we can get to a photo realistic render. We have some concpet CGI's planned in the pipeline for the new year and will keep you upto date.

Monsoon Elation - Perfume and Gift Set Packaging Design

We were approached by Bronnley to undertake some artworking for the exisiting Monsoon fragrance which led onto Make_Studio being chosen to come up with the packaging design for their latest fragrance - Elation - Carla has also been busy working on the xmas gift collections - including packaging for 2 of the fragrances and some new artwork designs for some of the accessories. Available at most retail outlets.

3D Typography To Promote Opticks Brand

We've recently worked with Jason Rubino Design to create a set of 3 typographical images for Opticks who are an opticians based in Ireland. Based on concepts around the words "accuracy", "eyes" and "unique" we worked with Jason's typography and formed 3D versions each with a graphical element that had a relationship to the word. Finally placement went in advertisements around the country to help pormote the brand.

Product Renders - Garmin Edge 705 - Tests

Andy has been playing with some new test renders for future purpose and we've had a quick re-visit to the Garmin Edge unit we previously did the website for  ( www8.garmin.com/uk/edge/ ). Still playing with this but its good to keep you informed for future needs of any product visuals required.

Paintworks - Stand Design for Sunseeker Dealers Conference

We've just had feedback from our friends at Paintworks ( www.paulhoskinsltd.com ) who we helped create a stand for the Sunseeker Dealers Conference in Ireland. Incorporating some displays with the website showing on a gloss and matt background of europe the stand also had promo calendars for 2011 printed, with other accessories given out with matching brand coloured champagne glasses to great success. We'll post more when we can but happy to have received the feedback we've just had.

Identity Website - Concepts Underway

Exhibition Graphics for EuroCommercial Properties - For The Ice Agency

The last few weeks have had us busy on a number of projects for The Ice Agency ( www.iceagency.co.uk ) and undertook producing graphic artwork for Eurocommercial Properties stand at this years MAPIC expo. A plasma screen presentation, image database, lightboxes, custom signage and ads were all produce to create a new fresh approach for the stand this year in keeping with a brand update for the company.

EYE Corp - Commission CGI Image To Celebrate A Decade

Eye Corp recently approached us with creative concept to realise a logo in 3D for a celebration of their first decade in business. We created a simple clean graphic of the number 10 and message in a block format on layers so that the in-house team could play accompany various elements in the future.

Norway CGI - Raaholdt Residential Development Images

Once again our friends in Norway have been keeping us busy - some new CGI's have been created to help sell the new development in Raaholdt. The 1st phase is under way and we indicated the second phase with a slight ghosted effect. More in the pipeline to follow.

Limited Space - Rollout Their National Campaign Concept

As the agency for Limited Space we approached them to take advantage of Make_Studio's CGI skills to create a campaign that they could rollout through various media both on and off line. Taking the discussion from the idea of " bring your campaign to life " we decided to make elements around a 3d type version with the lift being the source of these elements. Featured in brochures, MPU's, a full page in Campaign magazine and some very impressive high finish flyers the concept has been well received - more are to follow and Carla is putting the finishing touches on their Xmas card as we speak which follows the same style.

My Tools Uk - Vintage Bike Clutch Tools - Site Goes Live

We've been working on another e-commerce site for Make_Studio friend Jason Smith who has been busy with a laser cutting machine to produce tools for vintage bikes and we said we'll help create a clean web platform to help him launch into an overseas market. After a few changes back and forth the site is now live and again we used Mal's E-commerce facility to implement into a HTML site that seems to be the common route these days. Miss Dolly's Vintage Tea Parties - Brand Identity and Site

Carla and Jason have been involved in creating the identity for Anna Coombes who accompanied by her vintage caravan is running around the UK catering for tea parties with a vintage twist. A logo, website, blog and some marketing material were first on our list of essentials for a startup and she's now taking bookings for various occasions.

Spotless and Ice Cream Boats - Photoshoot

So Carla got to enjoy one of the last days of summer and spent the morning photographing the Ice-Cream boats that visit the Sandbanks and Studland beaches every summer. Under Tim Morris owner of Spotless car valeting the boats have grown to four now and he needed some promotional shots of both ventures. Its not a bad life is it ??

New Garmin Ad Rollouts for National Campaign

Make_Studio worked in collaboration with photographer, Rama Knight to create new campaign material for the latest Garmin satellite navigation products. The new Nuvi features tv as a key usp and the below shot

Norway developers use Make_Studio for CGI's

We've recently being producing a lot of CGI's for use on various marketing material in and around Oslo in Norway. A new collaboration with a local agency means we'll be continuing to produce for the Scandinavian market and keep an eye on the website for future work.
